19 ^aMany are the afflictions of the righteous,
^bbut the Lord delivers him out of them all.

2 the Lord protects him and keeps him alive;
he is called blessed in the land;
you ^cdo not give him up to the will of his enemies.

22 ^dCast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
^ehe will never permit
the righteous to be moved.
