they have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them.

I will hide my eyes from you;
oeven though you make many prayers,
I will not listen;
pyour hands are full of blood.

Jeremiah 7:8-11

8Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail. 9 qWill you steal, murder, commit adultery, rswear falsely, smake offerings to Baal, tand go after other gods that you have not known, 10and then come and stand before me in this house, uwhich is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—only to go on doing all these abominations? 11 vHas this house, wwhich is called by my name, xbecome a den of robbers in your eyes? Amos 5:21-23

and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies.

I will not accept them;
and the peace offerings of your fattened animals,
I will not look upon them.
23Take away from me the noise of your songs;
to aathe melody of your harps I will not listen.

Micah 3:10-12
