Psalms 36:1-4

How Precious Is Your Steadfast Love

To the choirmaster. Of David, the aservant of the Lord.

1 Transgression speaks to the wicked
deep in his heart;
Some Hebrew manuscripts, Syriac, Jerome (compare Septuagint); most Hebrew manuscripts  in my heart

cthere is no fear of God
before his eyes.
2 dFor he flatters himself in his own eyes
that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
3The words of his mouth are etrouble and deceit;
fhe has ceased to act wisely and do good.
4He gplots htrouble while on his bed;
he sets himself in ia way that is not good;
jhe does not reject evil.

Psalms 78:8

8and that they should not be klike their fathers,
la stubborn and rebellious generation,
a generation mwhose heart was not steadfast,
whose spirit was not faithful to God.

John 3:19-20

19 nAnd this is the judgment: othe light has come into the world, and ppeople loved the darkness rather than the light because qtheir works were evil. 20 rFor everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, slest his works should be exposed.

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

11Therefore tGod sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe uwhat is false, 12in order that all may be condemned vwho did not believe the truth but whad pleasure in unrighteousness.
