Psalms 37:1

He Will Not Forsake His Saints

This psalm is an acrostic poem, each stanza beginning with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet
Of David.

1 bFret not yourself because of evildoers;
be not cenvious of wrongdoers!

Psalms 37:7

7 dBe still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;
efret not yourself over the one who fprospers in his way,
over the man who carries out evil devices!

Isaiah 8:21-22

21They will pass through the land,

10The fifth angel poured out his bowl on othe throne of the beast, and pits kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish 11and cursed qthe God of heaven for their pain and rsores. sThey did not repent of their deeds.
