Psalms 37:1

He Will Not Forsake His Saints

This psalm is an acrostic poem, each stanza beginning with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet
Of David.

1 bFret not yourself because of evildoers;
be not cenvious of wrongdoers!

Psalms 37:7-9

7 dBe still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;
efret not yourself over the one who fprospers in his way,
over the man who carries out evil devices!
8 gRefrain from anger, and forsake wrath!
hFret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
9 iFor the evildoers shall be cut off,
but those who wait for the Lord shall jinherit the land.

Psalms 73:3

3 kFor I was lenvious of the arrogant
when I saw the mprosperity of the wicked.

Proverbs 23:17

17Let not your heart nenvy sinners,
but continue in othe fear of the Lord all the day.

Proverbs 24:1

1Be not penvious of evil men,
nor desire to be qwith them,

Proverbs 24:19-20

19 rFret not yourself because of evildoers,
and be not senvious of the wicked,
20for the evil man has no tfuture;
uthe lamp of the wicked will be put out.

Galatians 5:21
