34 ^aWait for the Lord and keep his way,
and he will exalt you to inherit the land;
you will look on ^bwhen the wicked are cut off.

7 For he has delivered me from every trouble,
and my eye has ^clooked in triumph on my enemies.

8 His heart is steady; he will not be afraid,
until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.

7 ^dThe Lord is on my side as my helper;
I shall ^elook in triumph on those who hate me.
