9 ^aFor the evildoers shall be cut off,
but those who wait for the Lord shall ^binherit the land.

Psalms 37:28

28 For the Lord ^cloves justice;
he will not forsake his ^dsaints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be ^ecut off.

Zechariah 5:3-4

3 Then he said to me, “This is ^fthe curse that goes out over the face of the whole land. For everyone who ^gsteals shall be cleaned out according to what is on one side, and everyone who ^hswears falsely ^{▼▼Hebrew lacks falsely (supplied from verse 4)} shall be cleaned out according to what is on the other side. 4 I will send it out, declares the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief, and the house of ^jhim who swears falsely by my name.
