2 For your ^aarrows have sunk into me,
and your hand ^bhas come down on me.

Psalms 38:10

10 My heart throbs; my strength fails me,
and ^cthe light of my eyes—it also has gone from me.

Psalms 77:3-9

3 When I remember God, I ^dmoan;
when I meditate, my spirit faints. Selah
4 You hold my eyelids open;
I am so ^etroubled that I cannot speak.

the years long ago.

8 Has his steadfast love forever ceased?
Are his ^lpromises at an end for all time?
