Psalms 39:2

2I was amute and silent;
I held my peace to no avail,
and my distress grew worse.

Psalms 39:9

9 bI am mute; I do not open my mouth,
cfor it is you who have done it.

Matthew 26:62-63

62And the high priest stood up and said, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”
Or Have you no answer to what these men testify against you?
63 eBut Jesus remained silent. fAnd the high priest said to him, g“I adjure you by hthe living God, itell us if you are jthe Christ, kthe Son of God.”

Luke 23:34

34And Jesus said, Father, lforgive them, mfor they know not what they do.”
Some manuscripts omit the sentence  And Jesus . . . what they do
And they cast lots oto divide his garments.

John 18:9-11

9 pThis was to fulfill the word that he had spoken: Of those whom you gave me I have lost not one.” 10Then Simon Peter, qhaving a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant
Greek bondservant; twice in this verse
and cut off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.)
11So Jesus said to Peter, Put your sword into its sheath; sshall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?”
