2 O men,
Or  O men of rank

How long will you love vain words and seek after blies?  Selah

Psalms 62:3-4

3 How long will all of you attack a man
to batter him,
like ca leaning wall, a tottering fence?

Psalms 64:2-8

2Hide me from fthe secret plots of the wicked,
from the throng of evildoers,
3who gwhet their tongues like swords,
who haim bitter words like arrows,
4shooting from iambush at the blameless,

no one goes to law honestly;
they rely on empty pleas, they speak lies,

5They hatch adderseggs;
they weave the spider’s web;
he who eats their eggs dies,
and from one that is crushed a viper is hatched.
6 uTheir webs will not serve as clothing;
men will not cover themselves with what they make.
Their works are works of iniquity,
and deeds of violence are in their hands.
7 vTheir feet run to evil,
and they are swift to shed innocent blood;
their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;
desolation and destruction are in their highways.

Jeremiah 9:3-6

yand they do not know me, declares the Lord.
4 zLet everyone beware of his neighbor,
and put no trust in any brother,
for every aabrother is a deceiver,
and every neighbor abgoes about as a slanderer.
5Everyone deceives his neighbor,
and no one speaks the truth;
they have taught their tongue to speak lies;
they weary themselves committing iniquity.
6Heaping oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit,
acthey refuse to know me, declares the Lord.

Ezekiel 22:27-29

They have oppressed the poor and needy, and ajhave extorted from the sojourner without justice.
