Psalms 40:6

6 aIn sacrifice and offering you have not delighted,
but you have given me an open bear.
Hebrew ears you have dug for me

Burnt offering and sin offering
you have not required.

Psalms 50:10-12

10For every beast of the forest is mine,
the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 dI know all the birds of the hills,
and all that moves in the field is mine.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you,
efor the world and its fullness are mine.

Micah 6:6-7

What Does the Lord Require?

6 f“With what shall I come before the Lord,
and bow myself before gGod on high?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with calves a year old?
7 hWill the Lord be pleased with
Or  Will the Lord accept
thousands of rams,
with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
jShall I give my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?”

Hebrews 10:5-10

5Consequently, kwhen Christ
Greek he
came into the world, he said,

mSacrifices and offerings you have not desired,
but a body have you prepared for me;
6in burnt offerings and sin offerings
you have taken no pleasure.
7Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,
as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”
8When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in nsacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), 9then he added, oBehold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. 10And by that will pwe have been sanctified through the offering of qthe body of Jesus Christ ronce for all.
