Psalms 40:9-10

9 I have told the glad news of deliverance
Hebrew righteousness; also verse 10

in bthe great congregation;
behold, I have not crestrained my lips,
das you know, O Lord.
10I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart;
I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation;
I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness
from the great congregation.

Isaiah 56:10

10 eHis watchmen are blind;
they are all without knowledge;
they are all silent fdogs;
they cannot bark,
dreaming, lying down,
loving to slumber.

Jeremiah 1:7-10

7But the Lord said to me,

“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’;
for to all to whom I send you, you shall go,
and gwhatever I command you, you shall speak.
8 hDo not be afraid of them,
ifor I am with you to deliver you,

declares the Lord.”
9 jThen the Lord put out his hand and ktouched my mouth. And the Lord said to me,

Behold, I have put lmy words in your mouth.
10See, I have set you this day mover nations and over kingdoms,
nto pluck up and to break down,
to destroy and to overthrow,
to build and to plant.”

Jeremiah 1:17-19

17But you, odress yourself for work;
Hebrew gird up your loins
arise, and qsay to them everything that I command you. rDo not be dismayed by them, lest I dismay you before them.
18And I, behold, I make you this day sa fortified city, tan iron pillar, and ubronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land. 19 vThey will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for wI am with you, declares the Lord, to deliver you.”

Jeremiah 7:8-11

8Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail. 9 xWill you steal, murder, commit adultery, yswear falsely, zmake offerings to Baal, aaand go after other gods that you have not known, 10and then come and stand before me in this house, abwhich is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—only to go on doing all these abominations? 11 acHas this house, adwhich is called by my name, aebecome a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 15:19-20

19 Therefore thus says the Lord:
af“If you return, I will restore you,
and you shall agstand before me.
If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless,
you shall be as my mouth.
They shall turn to you,
but you shall not turn to them.
20 ahAnd I will make you to this people
a fortified wall of bronze;
they will fight against you,
aibut they shall not prevail over you,
ajfor I am with you
to save you and deliver you,

declares the Lord.

Ezekiel 2:3-8

3And he said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to aknations of rebels, who have rebelled against me. alThey and their fathers have transgressed against me to this very day. 4The descendants also are amimpudent and stubborn: I send you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ 5And anwhether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are aoa rebellious house) apthey will know that a prophet has been among them. 6And you, son of man, aqbe not afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, arthough briers and thorns are with you and you sit on asscorpions.
Or  on scorpion plants
Be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.
7And you shall speak my words to them, auwhether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house.

8“But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. avBe not rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and aweat what I give you.”
