O Lord, Be Gracious to Me

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

1 ^aBlessed is the one who considers the poor! ^{▼▼Or weak}
^cIn the day of trouble the Lord delivers him;
2 the Lord protects him and keeps him alive;
he is called blessed in the land;
you ^ddo not give him up to the will of his enemies.

Psalms 61:5

5 For you, O God, have heard my vows;
you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

9 Surely his ^esalvation is near to those who fear him,
that ^fglory may dwell in our land.
