Psalms 41:1-3

O Lord, Be Gracious to Me

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

1 aBlessed is the one who considers the poor!
Or weak

cIn the day of trouble the Lord delivers him;
2the Lord protects him and keeps him alive;
he is called blessed in the land;
you ddo not give him up to the will of his enemies.
3The Lord sustains him on his sickbed;
in his illness you restore him to full health.
Hebrew  you turn all his bed

Psalms 112:5-9

5It is well with the man who fdeals generously and lends;
who conducts his affairs with justice.
6For the righteous will gnever be moved;
hhe will be remembered forever.
7He is not iafraid of bad news;
his jheart is firm, ktrusting in the Lord.
8His heart is steady; he will not be afraid,
until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.
9He has ldistributed freely; he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever;
his mhorn is exalted in honor.

Isaiah 58:7-12

7Is it not qto share your bread with the hungry
and bring the homeless poor into your house;
when you see the naked, to cover him,
rand not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 sThen shall your light break forth like the dawn,
tand your healing shall spring up speedily;
uyour righteousness shall go before you;
vthe glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
9Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’
If you take away wthe yoke from your midst,
xthe pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
10 yif you pour yourself out for the hungry
and satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
zthen shall your light rise in the darkness
and your gloom be as the noonday.
11And the Lord will guide you continually
and satisfy your desire in scorched places
and make your bones strong;
and you shall be aalike a watered garden,
like a spring of water,
whose waters do not fail.
12 abAnd your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt;
you shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
you shall be called the repairer of the breach,
the restorer of streets to dwell in.

Matthew 10:8

Or  brothers and sisters
you did it to me.’
