The Light of the Gospel

1Therefore, having lthis ministry mby the mercy of God,
Greek as we have received mercy
we do not lose heart.

2 Corinthians 4:8-14

8We are oafflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9persecuted, but pnot forsaken; qstruck down, but not destroyed; 10 ralways carrying in the body the death of Jesus, sso that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. 11For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesussake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12So tdeath is at work in us, but life in you.

13Since we have uthe same spirit of faith according to what has been written, v“I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak, 14knowing that whe who raised the Lord Jesus xwill raise us also with Jesus and ybring us with you into his presence.

2 Corinthians 4:16

16So we do not lose heart. zThough our outer self
Greek man
is wasting away, abour inner self acis being renewed day by day.
