1 aVindicate me, O God, and bdefend my causeagainst an ungodly people,
from cthe deceitful and unjust man
deliver me!
2For you are dthe God in whom I take refuge;
why have you erejected me?
Why do I fgo about mourning
because of the oppression of the enemy?
3 gSend out your light and your truth;
let them lead me;
let them bring me to your hholy hill
and to your idwelling!
