Psalms 43:4

4Then I will go to the altar of God,
to God my exceeding joy,
and I will praise you with the lyre,
O God, my God.

Malachi 2:11-13

11Judah has been afaithless, and abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem. For bJudah has profaned the sanctuary of the Lord, which he loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god. 12May the Lord cut off from the tents of Jacob any descendant
Hebrew  any who wakes and answers
of the man who does this, who dbrings an offering to the Lord of hosts!

13And this second thing you do. eYou cover the Lord’s altar with tears, with weeping and groaning because he no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand.

Matthew 5:23-24

23 fSo if gyou are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

1 Corinthians 11:28-29
