Psalms 44:11-12

11 You have made us like ^asheep for slaughter
and have ^bscattered us among the nations.
12 ^cYou have sold your people for a trifle,
demanding no high price for them.

Jeremiah 11:19

19 But I was ^dlike a gentle lamb
led to the slaughter.
I did not know ^eit was against me
they devised schemes, saying,
“Let us destroy the tree with its fruit,
^flet us cut him off from ^gthe land of the living,
that his name be remembered no more.”
