Psalms 44:13-16

13 You have made us ^athe taunt of our neighbors,
the derision and ^bscorn of those around us.
14 You have made us ^ca byword among the nations,
^da laughingstock ^{▼▼Hebrew a shaking of the head} among the peoples.
15 All day long my disgrace is before me,
and ^fshame has covered my face
16 at the sound of the taunter and reviler,
at the sight of ^gthe enemy and the avenger.

Psalms 69:7-13

7 For it is ^hfor your sake that I have borne reproach,
that dishonor has covered my face.
8 I have become ⁱa stranger to my brothers,
an alien to my mother’s sons.
9 For ^jzeal for your house has consumed me,
and ^kthe reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
10 When I wept and humbled ^{▼▼Hebrew lacks and humbled} my soul with fasting,
it became my reproach.

13 May my accusers be ^sput to shame and consumed;
^twith scorn and disgrace may they be covered
who ^useek my hurt.

Psalms 109:29

29 May my accusers be ^vclothed with dishonor;
may they ^wbe wrapped in their own shame as in a cloak!

Jeremiah 3:25
