Psalms 44:23-26

23 aAwake! Why are you sleeping, O Lord?
Rouse yourself! bDo not reject us forever!
24Why cdo you hide your face?
Why do you forget our affliction and oppression?
25For our dsoul is bowed down to the dust;
our belly clings to the ground.
26Rise up; ecome to our help!
fRedeem us for the sake of your steadfast love!

Psalms 74:9-11

9 We do not see our gsigns;
hthere is no longer any prophet,
and there is none among us who knows how long.
10How long, O God, iis the foe to scoff?
Is the enemy to revile your name forever?
11Why jdo you hold back your hand, your right hand?
Take it from the fold of your garment
Hebrew  from your bosom
and destroy them!

Psalms 79:5

5 lHow long, O Lord? Will you be angry mforever?
Will your njealousy oburn like fire?

Psalms 85:5-6

5 pWill you be angry with us forever?
Will you prolong your anger to all generations?
6Will you not qrevive us again,
that your people may rrejoice in you?

Psalms 102:13-14

13You will sarise and have tpity on Zion;
it is the time to favor her;
uthe appointed time has come.
14For your servants hold her vstones dear
and have pity on her dust.

Isaiah 64:9-12

9 wBe not so terribly angry, O Lord,
xand remember not iniquity forever.
Behold, please look, we are all your people.
10 yYour holy cities have become a wilderness;
Zion has become a wilderness,
Jerusalem a desolation.
11 zOur holy and beautiful
Or  holy and glorious
house,
where our fathers praised you,
has been burned by fire,
and all our pleasant places have become ruins.
12 abWill you restrain yourself at these things, O Lord?
Will you keep silent, and afflict us so terribly?
