7 ayou have loved righteousness and hated wickedness.
Therefore bGod, your God, has canointed you

Isaiah 11:2-5

2And fthe Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
3And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord.
gHe shall not judge by hwhat his eyes see,
or decide disputes by iwhat his ears hear,
4but jwith righteousness he shall judge the poor,
and decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
and he shall kstrike the earth with the rod of his mouth,
and lwith the breath of his lips mhe shall kill the wicked.
5Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist,
and nfaithfulness the belt of his loins.

Isaiah 42:1-4

The Lord’s Chosen Servant

1 oBehold pmy servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen, qin whom my soul delights;
rI have put my Spirit upon him;
she will bring forth justice to the nations.
2He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice,
or make it heard in the street;
3 ta bruised reed he will not break,
and a faintly burning wick he will not quench;
uhe will faithfully bring forth justice.
4He will not grow faint or be discouraged
Or bruised

till he has established justice in the earth;
and wthe coastlands wait for his law.

Isaiah 50:4

4 The Lord God has given xme
the tongue of those who are taught,
that yI may know how to sustain with a word
zhim who is weary.
Morning by morning he awakens;
he awakens my ear
to hear as those who are taught.

Isaiah 59:21

21“And as for me, aathis is my covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit that is upon you, aband my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from this time forth and forevermore.”
