God Is King over All the Earth

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of athe Sons of Korah.

1 bClap your hands, all peoples!
cShout to God with loud songs of joy!
2For the Lord, the Most High, dis to be feared,
ea great king over all the earth.
3He fsubdued peoples under us,
and nations under our feet.
4He chose our gheritage for us,
hthe pride of Jacob whom he loves.  Selah
5 God ihas gone up with a shout,
the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
7For God is jthe King of all the earth;
sing praises kwith a psalm!

8 God mreigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.
9 nThe princes of the peoples gather
as the people of the God of Abraham.
For othe shields of the earth belong to God;
he is highly exalted!

Psalms 98:1-3

Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord

A Psalm.

1 Oh sing to the Lord pa new song,
for he has done qmarvelous things!
His rright hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
2The Lord has smade known his salvation;
he has trevealed his righteousness in uthe sight of the nations.
3He has vremembered his wsteadfast love and faithfulness
to the house of Israel.
All xthe ends of the earth have seen
ythe salvation of our God.

Isaiah 12:6

6Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
for great zin your
The Hebrew for  your in verse 6 is singular, referring to the  inhabitant of Zion
midst is abthe Holy One of Israel.”

Isaiah 35:10

10 acAnd the ransomed of the Lord shall return
and come to Zion with singing;
adeverlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 40:9

The Greatness of God

9 Go on up to a high mountain,
O Zion, aeherald of good news;
Or  O herald of good news to Zion

lift up your voice with strength,
O Jerusalem, herald of good news;
Or  O herald of good news to Jerusalem

lift it up, fear not;
say to the cities of Judah,
Behold your God!”

the salvation of our God.

Zechariah 9:9

The Coming King of Zion
