Zion, the City of Our God

A Song. A Psalm of athe Sons of Korah.

1 bGreat is the Lord and greatly to be praised
in cthe city of our God!
His dholy mountain,
2 ebeautiful in elevation,
is fthe joy of all the earth,
Mount Zion, in the far north,
gthe city of the great King.
3Within her citadels God
has made himself known as a fortress.

Psalms 74:2-4

2 hRemember your congregation, which you have ipurchased of old,
which you have jredeemed to be kthe tribe of your heritage!
Remember Mount Zion, lwhere you have dwelt.
3Direct your steps to mthe perpetual ruins;
the enemy has destroyed everything in the sanctuary!
4 Your foes have nroared in the midst of your meeting place;
othey set up their pown signs for qsigns.

The Lord Surrounds His People

A Song of rAscents.

1 Those who strust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which tcannot be moved, but abides forever.
2As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so uthe Lord surrounds his people,
from this time forth and forevermore.
