Zion, the City of Our God

A Song. A Psalm of athe Sons of Korah.

1 bGreat is the Lord and greatly to be praised
in cthe city of our God!
His dholy mountain,
2 ebeautiful in elevation,
is fthe joy of all the earth,
Mount Zion, in the far north,
gthe city of the great King.
3Within her citadels God
has made himself known as a fortress.

Psalms 76:1

Who Can Stand Before You?

his name is great in Israel.

Psalms 132:13-14

13 For the Lord has kchosen Zion;
he has ldesired it for his dwelling place:
14This is my mresting place forever;

Isaiah 12:6

6Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,

The Hebrew for  your in verse 6 is singular, referring to the  inhabitant of Zion
midst is qthe Holy One of Israel.”

Isaiah 31:9

9 rHis rock shall pass away in terror,
and his officers desert the standard in panic,”
declares the Lord, whose sfire is in Zion,
and whose tfurnace is in Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 48:35

35The circumference of the city shall be 18,000 cubits. And uthe name of the city from that time on shall be, vThe Lord Is There.”

Zephaniah 3:15

15The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;
he has cleared away your enemies.
wThe King of Israel, xthe Lord, is in your midst;
you shall never again fear evil.

Zechariah 2:5

5And I will be to her ya wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”
