3 For the Lord ^ccomforts Zion;
he comforts all her waste places

Isaiah 52:7-10

7 ^gHow beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, ^hwho brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
8 The voice of ⁱyour watchmen—they lift up their voice;
together they sing for joy;

the return of the Lord to Zion.

Israel’s Joy and Restoration

15 The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;
he has cleared away your enemies.

The Coming King of Zion

Matthew 21:4-9
