Psalms 48:6

6 aTrembling took hold of them there,
anguish bas of a woman in labor.

Isaiah 13:8

8They will be dismayed:
cpangs and agony will seize them;

They will look aghast at one another;

John 16:21

21 mWhen a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.

1 Thessalonians 5:3

3While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then nsudden destruction will come upon them oas labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
