Psalms 50:1

God Himself Is Judge

A Psalm of aAsaph.

1 bThe Mighty One, God the Lord,
speaks and summons the earth
cfrom the rising of the sun to its setting.

Psalms 50:3-4

3 Our God comes; he ddoes not keep silence;
Or May our God come, and not keep silence

before him is a devouring ffire,
around him a mighty tempest.
4 gHe calls to the heavens above
and to the earth, that he may judge his people:

Psalms 50:21

21These things you have done, and I hhave been silent;
you thought that I
Or  that the I am
was one like yourself.
But now I jrebuke you and klay the charge before you.

Ecclesiastes 8:11-12

11Because lthe sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, mthe heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. 12Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and nprolongs his life, yet I know that oit will be well with pthose who fear God, because they fear before him.

Isaiah 57:11

11 qWhom did you dread and fear,
rso that you lied,
and did not remember me,
did not lay it to heart?
sHave I not held my peace, even for a long time,
and you do not fear me?

Romans 2:4-10

4Or do you presume on tthe riches of his kindness and uforbearance and vpatience, wnot knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? 5But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are xstoring up ywrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.

6 zHe will render to each one according to his works: 7to those who aaby patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8but for those who are self-seeking
Or contentious
and acdo not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.
9There will be tribulation and distress adfor every human being who does evil, the Jew aefirst and also the Greek, 10but glory and honor and afpeace for everyone who does good, agthe Jew first and also the Greek.
