Psalms 50:19-20

19 “You give your mouth free rein for evil,
aand your tongue frames deceit.
20You sit and speak against your brother;
you slander your own mother’s son.

Psalms 52:2-4

2Your btongue plots destruction,
like ca sharp razor, you dworker of deceit.
3You love evil more than good,

3who fwhet their tongues like swords,
who gaim bitter words like arrows,

Jeremiah 9:3-5

3 iThey bend their tongue like a bow;

James 3:5-8

5So also the tongue is a small member, yet sit boasts of great things.

How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire!
6And tthe tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, ustaining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life,
