1 O God, do not keep silence;
fdo not hold your peace or be still, O God!

Isaiah 42:13-14

13 gThe Lord goes out like a mighty man,
like a man of war hhe stirs up his zeal;
he cries out, ihe shouts aloud,
he shows himself mighty against his foes.
14 For a long time I have held my peace;
I have kept still and restrained myself;
now I will cry out jlike a woman in labor;
I will gasp and pant.

Isaiah 65:6-7

6Behold, kit is written before me:
l“I will not keep silent, but I will repay;
mI will indeed repay into their lap
7both your iniquities nand your fathersiniquities together,

says the Lord;
obecause they made offerings on the mountains
pand insulted me on the hills,
I will measure into their lap
payment for their former deeds.”
