The Final Judgment

31 hWhen the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, ithen he will sit on his glorious throne. 32Before him jwill be gathered kall the nations, and lhe will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates mthe sheep from the goats. 33And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34Then nthe King will say to othose on his right, ‘Come, you pwho are blessed by my Father, qinherit rthe kingdom sprepared for you tfrom the foundation of the world. 35For uI was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you vgave me drink, wI was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 xI was naked and you clothed me, yI was sick and you zvisited me, aaI was in prison and you came to me.’ 37Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40And abthe King will answer them, acTruly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these admy brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters
you did it to me.’

41Then he will say to those on his left, afDepart from me, you agcursed, into ahthe eternal fire prepared for aithe devil and his angels. 42For ajI was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ 45Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, akyou did not do it to me.’ 46And these will go away alinto eternal punishment, but the righteous aminto aneternal life.”

John 5:22-27

22 aoFor the Father judges no one, but aphas given all judgment to the Son, 23that all may honor the Son, just as they aqhonor the Father. arWhoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24Truly, truly, I say to you, aswhoever hears my word and atbelieves him who sent me has eternal life. He audoes not come into judgment, but avhas passed from death to life.

25Truly, truly, I say to you, awan hour is coming, and is now here, when axthe dead will hear aythe voice of the Son of God, and those who hear azwill live. 26 baFor as the Father has life in himself, bbso he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27And he bchas given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.
