Psalms 51:16-17

16 ^aFor you will not delight in sacrifice, or I would give it;
you will not be pleased with a burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are ^ba broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Mark 12:33

33 And to love him with all the heart and with all ^cthe understanding and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, ^dis much more than all ^ewhole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
