Psalms 55:11-15

11ruin is in its midst;
aoppression and fraud
do not depart from its marketplace.
12 For it is not an enemy who taunts me—
then I could bear it;
it is not an adversary who bdeals insolently with me—
then I could hide from him.
13 cBut it is you, a man, my equal,
my companion, my familiar friend.
14We used to take sweet counsel together;
within God’s house we walked in dthe throng.
15Let death steal over them;
let them go down to Sheol ealive;
for evil is in their dwelling place and in their heart.

Proverbs 26:24-25

24Whoever hates disguises himself with his lips
and harbors deceit in his heart;
25 fwhen he speaks graciously, believe him not,
for there are gseven abominations in his heart;

Jeremiah 41:5-7

5eighty men arrived from hShechem and iShiloh and jSamaria, with ktheir beards shaved and ltheir clothes torn, and mtheir bodies gashed, nbringing grain offerings and incense to present at the temple of the Lord. 6And Ishmael the son of Nethaniah came out from oMizpah to meet them, weeping as he came. As he met them, he said to them, “Come in to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam.” 7When they came into the city, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah and the men with him slaughtered them and cast them into a cistern.

Luke 20:20-21

20 pSo they qwatched him and sent spies, who rpretended to be sincere, that they might scatch him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the authority and jurisdiction of tthe governor. 21So they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you speak and teach rightly, and ushow no partiality,
