Psalms 55:12-15

12 For it is not an enemy who taunts me—
then I could bear it;
it is not an adversary who adeals insolently with me—
then I could hide from him.
13 bBut it is you, a man, my equal,
my companion, my familiar friend.
14We used to take sweet counsel together;
within God’s house we walked in cthe throng.
15Let death steal over them;
let them go down to Sheol dalive;
for evil is in their dwelling place and in their heart.

Psalms 69:22-28

22 eLet their own ftable before them become a snare;
gand when they are at peace, let it become a trap.
Hebrew; a slight revocalization yields (compare Septuagint, Syriac, Jerome)  a snare, and retribution and a trap

23 iLet their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see,
jand make their loins tremble continually.
24Pour out your indignation upon them,
and let your burning anger overtake them.
25 kMay their camp be a desolation;
let no one dwell in their tents.
26For they lpersecute him whom myou have struck down,
and they recount the pain of nthose you have wounded.
27 oAdd to them punishment upon punishment;
may they have no acquittal from you.
Hebrew  may they not come into your righteousness

28Let them be qblotted out of the book of the living;
let them not be renrolled among the righteous.

Psalms 109:6-15

6 sAppoint a wicked man tagainst him;
let an accuser stand uat his right hand.
7When he is tried, let him come forth guilty;
let his vprayer be counted as sin!
8May his wdays be few;
may xanother take his yoffice!
9May his zchildren be fatherless
and his wife a widow!
10May his children aawander about and beg,
abseeking food far from the ruins they inhabit!
11May acthe creditor seize all that he has;
may adstrangers plunder the fruits of his toil!
12Let there be none to aeextend kindness to him,
nor any to afpity his fatherless children!
13May his agposterity be cut off;
may his ahname be blotted out in the second generation!
14May aithe iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord,
and let not the sin of his mother be ajblotted out!
15 akLet them be before the Lord continually,
that he may alcut off the memory of them from the earth!

Matthew 27:5

5And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, amhe departed, and he went and hanged himself.

John 17:12

12 anWhile I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have aoguarded them, and apnot one of them has been lost except aqthe son of destruction, arthat the Scripture might be fulfilled.

Acts 1:16-25

16Brothers, asthe Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David concerning Judas, atwho became a guide to those who arrested Jesus. 17For auhe was numbered among us and was allotted his share in avthis ministry.” 18(Now this man awacquired a field with axthe reward of his wickedness, and falling headlong
Or swelling up
he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out.
19And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the field was called azin their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.) 20For it is written in the Book of Psalms,

ba“‘May his camp become desolate,
and let there be no one to dwell in it’;
and

bb“‘Let another take his office.’
21So one of the men who have accompanied us during bcall the time that the Lord Jesus bdwent in and out among us, 22 bebeginning from the baptism of John until the day when bfhe was taken up from usone of these men must become with us bga witness to his resurrection.” 23And they put forward two, Joseph called bhBarsabbas, who was also called biJustus, and bjMatthias. 24And bkthey prayed and said, “You, Lord, blwho know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen 25to take the place in bmthis ministry and bnapostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.”
