2 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing;
^aheal me, O Lord, ^bfor my bones are troubled.

8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
^clet the bones ^dthat you have broken rejoice.

3 For my days ^epass away like smoke,
and my ^fbones burn like a furnace.

5 Because of my loud groaning
my ^gbones cling to my flesh.
