Psalms 62:1-2

My Soul Waits for God Alone

To the choirmaster: according to aJeduthun. A Psalm of David.

1 For God alone bmy soul cwaits in silence;
from him comes my salvation.
2 dHe alone is my rock and my salvation,
my efortress; fI shall not be greatly shaken.

Psalms 62:5-8

5 For God alone, O gmy soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him.
6 hHe only is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7On God rests my isalvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, jmy refuge is God.
8 kTrust in him at all times, O people;
lpour out your heart before him;
God is ma refuge for us.  Selah

Lamentations 3:25-26

25 The Lord is good to those who twait for him,
to the soul who seeks him.

for the salvation of the Lord.

Micah 7:7-9

7But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
vI will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me.

ywhen I fall, I shall rise;
zwhen I sit in darkness,
the Lord will be a light to me.
9 aaI will bear the indignation of the Lord
because I have sinned against him,
until abhe pleads my cause
and executes judgment for me.
acHe will bring me out to the light;
I shall look upon his vindication.
