Psalms 66:10-12

10For you, O God, have atested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried.
11You brought us into bthe net;
you laid a crushing burden on our backs;
12you let men cride over our heads;
we went through fire and through dwater;
yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance.

Isaiah 11:15-16

15And the Lord will utterly destroy
Hebrew devote to destruction

fthe tongue of the Sea of Egypt,
and will wave his hand over gthe River
with his scorching breath,
Or wind

and strike it into seven channels,
and he will lead people across in sandals.
16And there will be ia highway from Assyria
for the remnant that remains of his people,
jas there was for Israel
when they came up from the land of Egypt.

Isaiah 42:15-16

15 kI will lay waste mountains and hills,
and dry up all their vegetation;
I will turn the rivers into islands,
Or  into coastlands

and dry up the pools.
16 mAnd I will lead the blind
in a way that they do not know,
in paths that they have not known
I will guide them.
I will turn the darkness before them into light,
nthe rough places into level ground.
These are the things I do,
and I do not forsake them.

Isaiah 43:2

2 oWhen you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
pwhen you walk through fire qyou shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.
