Save Me, O God

1 Save me, O God!
For bthe waters have come up to my neck.
Or  waters threaten my life

2I sink in deep dmire,
where there is no foothold;
I have come into deep waters,
and the flood esweeps over me.

Psalms 116:3-4

3 fThe snares of death encompassed me;
the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me;
I suffered distress and anguish.
4Then gI called on the name of the Lord:
“O Lord, I pray, deliver my soul!”

Psalms 142:4-5

4 hLook to the iright and see:
jthere is none who takes notice of me;
kno refuge remains to me;
no one cares for my soul.
5 I cry to you, O Lord;
I say, “You are my lrefuge,
my mportion in nthe land of the living.”

Lamentations 3:54-56

54 owater closed over my head;
I said, p‘I am lost.’

from the depths of the pit;

your ear to my cry for help!’
