Psalms 69:14-20

14Deliver me
from sinking in athe mire;
blet me be delivered from my enemies
and from cthe deep waters.
15Let not the flood sweep over me,
or the deep swallow me up,
or dthe pit close eits mouth over me.
16 Answer me, O Lord, for your fsteadfast love is good;
according to your abundant gmercy, hturn to me.
17 iHide not your face from your servant,
jfor I am in distress; kmake haste to answer me.
18Draw near to my soul, redeem me;
ransom me because of my enemies!
19 You know my lreproach,
and my shame and my dishonor;
my foes are all known to you.
20 mReproaches have broken my heart,
so that I am in ndespair.

Psalms 88:15-18

15Afflicted and close to death from my youth up,
I suffer your terrors; I am helpless.
The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain

16Your wrath has swept over me;
your sdreadful assaults destroy me.
17They tsurround me like a flood uall day long;
they vclose in on me together.
18You have caused wmy beloved and my friend to shun me;
my companions have become darkness.
Or darkness has become my only companion

Psalms 143:4

4Therefore my spirit yfaints within me;
