3 ^aI am weary with my crying out;
^bmy throat is parched.
^cMy eyes grow dim
with ^dwaiting for my God.

81 My soul ^elongs for your salvation;
I ^fhope in your word.
82 My ^geyes long for your promise;
I ask, ^h“When will you comfort me?”

6 my soul ⁱwaits for the Lord
more than ^jwatchmen for ^kthe morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.

7 ^lAnswer me quickly, O Lord!
^mMy spirit fails!
ⁿHide not your face from me,
^olest I be like those who go down to the pit.

17 ^pOur eyes failed, ever watching
^qvainly for help;
in our watching we watched
for ^ra nation which could not save.
