mighty are those who would destroy me,

What I did not steal
must I now restore?

Psalms 69:7-8

7 For it is ^efor your sake that I have borne reproach,
that dishonor has covered my face.
8 I have become ^fa stranger to my brothers,
an alien to my mother’s sons.

Psalms 69:10-12

10 When I wept and humbled ^{▼▼Hebrew lacks and humbled} my soul with fasting,
it became my reproach.
11 When I made ^hsackcloth my clothing,
I became ⁱa byword to them.
12 I am the talk of those who ^jsit in the gate,
and the drunkards make ^ksongs about me.
