17 I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness,
and I will ^asing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.

2 my enemies trample on me all day long,
for many attack me proudly.
3 When I am afraid,
I ^bput my trust in you.

18 that they may ^cknow that you alone,
^dwhose name is the Lord,
are ^ethe Most High over all the earth.

9 For you, O Lord, are ^fmost high over all the earth;
you are exalted far above ^gall gods.
