9He ibowed the heavens and jcame down;

10He rode on a cherub and flew;

11He made darkness his covering, his mcanopy around him,
thick clouds ndark with water.
12Out of the brightness before him
ohailstones and coals of fire broke through his clouds.

at the blast of vthe breath of your nostrils.

at the presence of the God of Jacob,

like waters poured down a steep place.

Nahum 1:3-6

3 aiThe Lord is slow to anger and ajgreat in power,
and akthe Lord will by no means clear the guilty.
alHis way is in whirlwind and storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
4 amHe rebukes the sea and makes it dry;
he dries up all the rivers;
anBashan and aoCarmel wither;
the bloom of apLebanon withers.
5 aqThe mountains quake before him;
arthe hills melt;
the earth heaves before him,
asthe world and all who dwell in it.
6 atWho can stand before his indignation?
