Psalms 72:6-19

6May he be like arain that falls on bthe mown grass,
like cshowers that water the earth!
7In his days may dthe righteous flourish,
and epeace abound, till the moon be no more!
8 May he have dominion from fsea to sea,
and from gthe River
That is,  the Euphrates
to the iends of the earth!
9May desert tribes jbow down before him,
and his enemies klick the dust!
10May the kings of lTarshish and of mthe coastlands
render him ntribute;
may the kings of oSheba and pSeba
bring gifts!
11May all kings qfall down before him,
all nations serve him!
12 For he delivers rthe needy when he calls,
the poor and him who has no helper.
13He has pity on the weak and the needy,
and saves the lives of the needy.
14From oppression and violence he redeems their life,
and sprecious is their blood in his sight.
15 Long may he live;
may tgold of Sheba be given to him!
May prayer be made ufor him continually,
and blessings invoked for him all the day!
16May there be abundance of grain in the land;
on the tops of the mountains may it wave;
may its fruit be like Lebanon;
and may people vblossom in the cities
like the wgrass of the field!
17 xMay his name endure forever,
his fame continue as long as the sun!
yMay people be blessed in him,
zall nations call him blessed!
18 aaBlessed be the Lord, the God of Israel,
who alone does abwondrous things.
19Blessed be his acglorious name forever;
may adthe whole earth be filled with his glory!

aeAmen and Amen!

and bdall the nations shall flow to it,
3and bemany peoples shall come, and say:

12 bkBehold, these shall come from afar,
and behold, blthese from the north and from the west,
Hebrew  from the sea

and these from the land of Syene.”
Dead Sea Scroll; Masoretic Text Sinim

13 boSing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth;
break forth, O mountains, into singing!
For the Lord bphas comforted his people
and will have compassion on his afflicted.
14 But Zion said, bq“The Lord has forsaken me;
my Lord has forgotten me.”
15 br“Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
16Behold, bsI have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me.
17Your builders make haste;
Dead Sea Scroll; Masoretic Text  Your children make haste

buyour destroyers and those who laid you waste go out from you.
18 bvLift up your eyes around and see;
they all gather, they come to you.
bwAs I live, declares the Lord,
bxyou shall put them all on as an ornament;
you shall bind them on as a bride does.
19 Surely your waste and your desolate places
and your devastated land
bysurely now you will be too narrow for your inhabitants,
and those who swallowed you up will be far away.
20 bzThe children of your bereavement
will yet say in your ears:
ca‘The place is too narrow for me;
make room for me to dwell in.’
21Then you will say in your heart:
Who has borne me these?
cbI was bereaved and barren,
exiled and put away,
but who has brought up these?
Behold, I was left alone;
from where have these come?’”
22 Thus says the Lord God:
Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations,
ccand raise my signal to the peoples;
cdand they shall bring your sons in their arms,
Hebrew  in their bosom

and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.
