Psalms 73:7-11

7Their aeyes swell out through fatness;
their hearts overflow with follies.
8They scoff and bspeak with malice;
loftily they threaten oppression.
9They set their mouths against the heavens,
and their tongue struts through the earth.
10Therefore his people turn back to them,
and find cno fault in them.
Probable reading; Hebrew the waters of a full cup are drained by them

11And they say, eHow can God know?
Is there knowledge in the Most High?”

Psalms 73:18-20

18 Truly you set them in fslippery places;
you make them fall to ruin.
19How they are destroyed gin a moment,
swept away utterly by hterrors!
20Like ia dream when one awakes,
O Lord, when jyou rouse yourself, you despise them as phantoms.

Ecclesiastes 8:8

8No man has power to kretain the spirit, lor power over the day of death. There is no mdischarge from war, nor will wickedness deliver those who are given to it.

Hosea 12:7-8

7 A merchant, in whose hands are nfalse balances,
