1 O God, gthe nations have come into your hinheritance;they have defiled your iholy temple;
they have jlaid Jerusalem in ruins.
2They have given kthe bodies of your servants
to the birds of the heavens for food,
the flesh of your lfaithful to mthe beasts of the earth.
3They have poured out their blood like water
all around Jerusalem,
and there was nno one to bury them.
4We have become oa taunt to our neighbors,
pmocked and derided by those around us.
5 qHow long, O Lord? Will you be angry rforever?
Will your sjealousy tburn like fire?
