Psalms 78:2-7

2 aI will open my mouth bin a parable;
I will utter dark sayings from of old,
3things that we have heard and known,
that our cfathers have told us.
4We will not dhide them from their children,
but etell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and fthe wonders that he has done.
5 He established ga testimony in hJacob
and appointed a law in iIsrael,
which he commanded our fathers
to teach to their children,
6that jthe next generation might know them,
the children yet unborn,
and arise and tell them to their children,
7so that they should set their hope in God
and not forget kthe works of God,
but lkeep his commandments;

Isaiah 8:20

20 mTo the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no ndawn.

Matthew 11:27-30
