Psalms 78:34-37

34 When he killed them, they ^asought him;
they repented and sought God earnestly.
35 They remembered that God was their ^brock,
the Most High God their ^credeemer.
36 But they ^dflattered him with their mouths;
they ^elied to him with their tongues.
37 Their ^fheart was not ^gsteadfast toward him;
they were not faithful to his covenant.

Jeremiah 42:20-21

20 that you have gone astray at the cost of your lives. ^hFor you sent me to the Lord your God, saying, ⁱ‘Pray for us to the Lord our God, and ^jwhatever the Lord our God says, declare to us and we will do it.’ 21 And I have this day declared it to you, but you have not obeyed the voice of the Lord your God in anything ^kthat he sent me to tell you.

Acts 5:3-4
