Psalms 78:34-37

34When he killed them, they asought him;
they repented and sought God earnestly.
35They remembered that God was their brock,
the Most High God their credeemer.
36But they dflattered him with their mouths;
they elied to him with their tongues.
37Their fheart was not gsteadfast toward him;
they were not faithful to his covenant.

Jeremiah 42:20-21

20that you have gone astray at the cost of your lives. hFor you sent me to the Lord your God, saying, iPray for us to the Lord our God, and jwhatever the Lord our God says, declare to us and we will do it.’ 21And I have this day declared it to you, but you have not obeyed the voice of the Lord your God in anything kthat he sent me to tell you.

Acts 5:3-4

3But Peter said, “Ananias, why has lSatan filled your heart to lie mto the Holy Spirit and nto keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but oto God.”
