Psalms 79:1

How Long, O Lord?

A Psalm of aAsaph.

1 O God, bthe nations have come into your cinheritance;
they have defiled your dholy temple;
they have elaid Jerusalem in ruins.

Jeremiah 52:13

13And he burned the house of the Lord, and the king’s house and all the houses of Jerusalem; every great house he burned down.

Lamentations 1:10

10 The enemy has stretched out his hands
over all her fprecious things;
for she has seen gthe nations
enter her sanctuary,
those whom you hforbade
to enter your congregation.

Daniel 8:11-14

11 iIt became great, even as great as jthe Prince of the host. kAnd the regular burnt offering was taken away from him, and the place of his sanctuary was overthrown. 12And a host will be given over to it together with the regular burnt offering because of transgression,
Or in an act of rebellion
and it will throw truth to the ground, and mit will act and prosper.
13Then I heard na holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one who spoke, o“For how long is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, pthe transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled underfoot?” 14And he said to me,
Hebrew; Septuagint, Theodotion, Vulgate  to him
“For 2,300 revenings and mornings. Then the sanctuary shall be restored to its rightful state.”

Daniel 9:27

27And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week,
Or seven; twice in this verse
and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. tAnd on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until uthe decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

Daniel 11:31

31Forces from him shall appear and vprofane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And wthey shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.

Mark 11:17

17And he was teaching them and saying to them, “Is it not written, xMy house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But yyou have made it a den of robbers.”
