Psalms 79:1-4
How Long, O Lord?
A Psalm of aAsaph.
1 O God, bthe nations have come into your cinheritance;they have defiled your dholy temple;
they have elaid Jerusalem in ruins.
2They have given fthe bodies of your servants
to the birds of the heavens for food,
the flesh of your gfaithful to hthe beasts of the earth.
3They have poured out their blood like water
all around Jerusalem,
and there was ino one to bury them.
4We have become ja taunt to our neighbors,
kmocked and derided by those around us.
