Psalms 79:2-3

2They have given athe bodies of your servants
to the birds of the heavens for food,
the flesh of your bfaithful to cthe beasts of the earth.
3They have poured out their blood like water
all around Jerusalem,
and there was dno one to bury them.

5 For my sword has drunk its fill in the heavens;
behold, it descends for judgment upon xEdom,
upon the people yI have devoted to destruction.
6The Lord has a sword; it is sated with blood;
it is gorged with fat,
with the blood of lambs and goats,
with the fat of the kidneys of rams.
zFor the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah,
a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
7 aaWild oxen shall abfall with them,
and acyoung steers with adthe mighty bulls.
Their land shall drink its fill of blood,
and their soil shall be gorged with fat.

Isaiah 66:24

24“And they shall go out and look on the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me. For aetheir worm shall not die, aftheir fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”

Jeremiah 8:2

2And they shall be spread agbefore the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. ahAnd they shall not be gathered or buried. aiThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.
